Privacy notice
This notice explains how Candor Joinery uses information you send through the website enquiry and project qualification forms, or choose to share with the website voice and chat assistant.

What we collect and why
We collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, company, email, phone number, the type and stage of project, location, timing, package size, whether drawings are available and your project description. If you use the voice or chat assistant, the text or audio you choose to share may also be processed to handle your request. We use enquiry information to assess whether the work is a fit, respond, discuss or prepare a quote, and keep a record of the conversation. We use your details for this enquiry only unless you separately ask to receive marketing.
We use this information because you have asked us to take steps towards providing a service and, where needed, to manage our legitimate business interest in handling enquiries and keeping an accurate record.
Who may process it?
Our website and enquiry records are hosted by service providers who help us operate the site and CRM. The voice and chat assistant is provided by Retell AI; information shared through it is processed by Retell to provide that feature. Retell’s privacy notice explains its handling of information. We do not sell enquiry details or add them to a marketing list.
Voice and chat assistant storage
Retell documents that its chat widget can save chat sessions in browser local storage so a conversation can be resumed. This is separate from Google Analytics. You can choose not to use the assistant. See Retell’s website widget documentation for its current technical details.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, this website loads Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views and campaign performance. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to distinguish visits and understand how people use the site. Campaign parameters such as source, medium and campaign name may be used to report which marketing channels brought visitors to the site. We do not send form answers, names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Google Analytics.
Analytics is optional. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you choose “Allow analytics”. You can reject it or change your choice below. The site stores your choice in a first-party preference cookie and on this device so it can remember your preference for six months. If you allow analytics, Google’s own privacy information also applies to its processing.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for up to 24 months after our last contact if it does not lead to work. If we quote for or carry out work, relevant records may be kept for longer where needed for contracts, tax, insurance or legal claims.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or raise a concern, by emailing callum@candorjoinery.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
